In the beginning . . . Momenta Pharmaceuticals was a group of MIT scientists with many questions and a big idea – use complex analytics to alter the way drugs are developed. At the outset, we took on great challenges and sought to increase patient access to complex generic, biosimilar and innovative novel therapeutics.
Today . . . Momenta has become a biotechnology company with a validated innovative scientific platform focused on discovering and developing novel therapeutics to treat rare, immune-mediated diseases. We have a more focused organization, targeting work developed in FcRn and IVIG, to reach new levels and explore new territory. By structuring our company to target and drive these novel drugs forward, we have become a more agile company aiming at becoming a commercial biotech to help patients with unmet medical needs.
